So my friends know that I’m really into the holistic self, and centering the body through opening the chakras. One of my closest friends(who’s doing this with me) informed me that there was a 21 day meditation challenge provided by Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey. I was instantly interested. I’ve been meditating for a while, but it’s never as often as I’d like to (life gets in the way), so this was the perfect excuse to get into meditating every day. So far, I’ve completed the first 4 days, and I love it. I feel a lot better, my only complaints is that I’m used to meditating for an hour or more, and this meditation lasts about 16 minutes, so sometimes as I’m really focusing on the mantra, the bell rings to notify the end of the session. These meditations are perfect for beginners, and a great way to experience meditation. Hey, they say it takes 21 days to turn something into a habit, do you think you could dedicate 16 minutes of silence and focus for 21 days? Here’s the link if you’re interested!
